Anonymous has launched a virus that has infected some 50 million computers slowley causing damage to each of the people who logged on to facebook, recently in late november random messages were also sent out with links to videos (bad ones i.e pron) making theperson look bad. so when your computer breaks you'v been infected to. Hacking groups have various branches (Don't mean the occasionall guy who thinks he can hack by nabbing a program that some else makes) so they can afford to lose some of their members if need to be, truth be told they have spoken for a vast majourity of the Internet at times

Even if they did decide to attack Facebook, by now it has so many security measures that they could only take down portions of the website and maybe not even that.
