I have always wondered what the meaning of life is. I would assume people who are religious could easily just grab onto their religious belief, which is completely fine. I myself am an atheist, so I have nothing to cling on to.
Now I’m not a philosopher or anything, but my personal theory for the meaning of life isn’t any depressing shit like just to die or that there is no meaning. I feel like the meaning of life is whatever that individual believes. Everyone has their own goals and ambitions, and so feel accomplished with different things.
If your goal or belief of the meaning of life is to treat everyone as well as possible, then you’d feel very accomplished if you managed to do that, but even smaller ambitions or goals could be your personal belief on the meaning of life too. I take it as more of a personal question than a general question. Rather than asking someone the meaning of life, ask them *their* meaning of life.
What they want to achieve, how they wish to live. If they believe it’s to, for example, reproduce and continue the human race, then that’s their meaning, and it’s different to yours, and everyone has their own.
