I use Lady Ninja Yae's ability... all you Spell/Trap cards are returned to the hand.
Plasma... I'll have to look that guy up, but Mist Valley Apex Avian can negate any effect by bouncing a 'Mist Valley' card to the hand. I bounce Mist Valley Thunderbird. Thunderbird is Special Summoned when bounced to the hand, and Divine Wind of Mist Valley gives me another WIND Level 4 or lower monster, so I Special Summon Delta Flyer and sync with Yae for Brionac. Plasma's down, I can negate any effect, your backfield is gone, and Brionac bounces any high-ATK or high-DEF monsters or any dangerous spells. You are left with little defense and low lifepoints (assuming you summoned Ra). So, Ra screws you over. All I have to watch out for is something killing Thunderbird (only 1100 ATK).

The legal Ra can be targeted by effects. All I need to do is defend against 1 attack, then I can summon Brionac, activate his ability, and bounce Ra back to the hand. Either you will be left with 100 LP since you activated Ra's ability, or Ra will be at 0 ATK if you didn't. So either I discard to bounce Ra back to the hand or attack it. Brionac is easy to summon with my Mist Valley deck, too.

There is a reason Brionac goes for $30 and Ra goes for less than $10.
