I'm looking forward to it, as well as (hopefully) participating in next year's VGC.
(I've even been battling in the VGC 2024 battle format on Pokémon Showdown in preparation for it.)

Yes, I 100% recommend getting the SCARLET version! It's a lot better, in my opinion, than Pokémon Violet! Scarlet has better exclusive Pokémon (Including Flutter Mane, one of the most powerful in the game), Koraidon feels so much cooler to ride than Miraidon, and (I know this isn't that important of a difference) even better-looking uniforms! I'm sure you'll enjoy it too!

Ultra Sun (like Ultra Moon) is a an AEESOME game, and I'm quite sure you'll have a ton of fun playing it!
(They added a lot of cool stuff to it that wasn't in the original Sun and Most on Versions, like the photo studio, and Mantine Surfing.)

And I've seen a bit of Scarlet and Violet Versions from some YouTube videos my dad played of them a while back and they looked pretty cool, and since I've never been one to complain about graphics anyway (I mean, the original Gen 1 games didn't even have color, lol), I'm sure I'll enjoy the heck out of them once I finally get the chance to play them.
(And if I have to choose between Scarlet Version and Violet Version, I'm definitely going to go with Scarlet Version.)

@Draconid_Jo Wowwwww, that's so cool! The only Pokémon games I've completed are both Scarlet and Violet, and Pokémon Moon! I recently got Ultra Sun, so I'm trying to complete that one now!
I totally recommend Pokémon Scarlet/Violet! The storyline's really great, the open-world Paldea region is so fun to explore (especially with friends), and the DLC adds a ton of new things! I've spent about 400 hours playing it, which is practically nothing compared to 10,000 ;-; The only downside of Pokémon Scarlet/Violet is the terrible graphics, but, other than that it's a fantastic game, and I give it a 10/10!

@isaiahxdd I actually like Miraidon a lot too (it's a Dragon Pokémon as well after all), although I'd have to say that I have a slight preference for Koraidon over it, due to it being more dinosaurian in appearance (I like dinosaurs quite a bit as well), and also how it goes better with the other Dragon-type Paradox Pokémon: Roaring Moon, Walking Wake, Gouging Fire, and Raging Bolt.
(Whereas none of the futuristic Paradox Pokémon are Dragon-type besides Miraidon itself, unfortunately.)

@Amjam And yup, I've been playing Pokémon literally since before most of the other Pokémon players here on Paint were even born, and despite the original GB games still holding a special place in my heart, my favorite games were actually the Gen 6 and 7 games (specifically Omega Ruby and Ultra Moon, the former of which I spent over 10,000 hours playing), and although I haven't yet had the chance to play them, I've seen a lot of cool stuff in the Gen 8 and 9 games that's got me REALLY wanting to play them too someday!
(The cool new Dragon Pokémon like Koraidon, Miraidon, and Roaring Moon definitely being among them!)
