Well it makes little difference to me, since I'm officially done with my GCSEs as of yesterday. I think that most people in England definitely need to be educated a bit more thoroughly, at least to the point that they are capable of forming a comprehensable sentence.
However I'm not sure if a more difficult system would encourage or discourage people.
