Monsters vs Aliens is one of those million movies that got a tie-in game for every single platform including ds,the version i going to review is the ds version.

1:VISUALS 9/10
the game have impressive graphics for a ds game,the only time the graphics are not so good is in the ginormica skate stages,but trust me,you will play only with bob and missing link.

2:GAMEPLAY 6.5/10
this game have multiple characters,missing link with a 2.5d beat em up gameplay,bob with also a 2.5d style,but this time is just a little different,ginormica with 2.5d sections but this time more linear and with some "minigames",and also a 3d skate section,this 3d section is not so great because you need to use the stylus,that's okay the problem is the stylus gameplay was not well made,the dr.cockroach with really tricky puzzles and insectosauros with a topdown view style with a timer,everything pretty basic.

3:MUSIC 6.9/10
the music is not high quality and some times are really low quality,they don't capture the atmosphere from the movie and from the other more powerful consoles,some musics are actually great,but the low quality just takes the cake.

4ESING 7/10
The game teaches you how to play these ginormica "minigames" but you will see them only 6 or 5 times,the bob and missing link tutorials teaches everything right,and insectosauros levels are just slow and boring,you just try to run fast and finish a level,the history is slight different from the movie and you have bonus content to unlock that increases gameplay time,also,the quality difference between one and other is strange,ginormica levels feels half-baked,but all the levels are a little bit fun to play.
