Now today we're going to talk about the 1850's during the goldrush.

Here are the main points of the story:
Point 1: People want one big colony iin Australia instead of 100's.

Point 2 People put up southern cross flag.

Point 3 Eureka Battle begins.

Now, here is the main story.

Two men were enjoying reunion over some drinks one night, one was Scotty. Then they had decided to go to the Eureka Hotel to get a drink. But when they got there the owner, Ben, was sleeping and did not like the disturbance. When he finally let them inside, Scotty got hit in the head with a shovel. Everyone was very angry with this as they all knew a loved Scotty. So one night they burned the Hotel down, but Ben had already run away. Now, the people found the gold-licences over-priced. So, one man put a sign up saying:

MEETING ON BAKERS HILL

There they burned there licences and erected the Southern cross flag.

Now, Governor Hotham was angry. So he started the Eureka Battle.

The story pretty much goes on from there.
