Suicide, it's a sore subject, for me, & many people out there. Homosexuality is also a sore subject for many people out there. Unfortunately, as of late, they've been tied in the same news broadcasts, undesirable fates, & heartbreaks. Heartbreaks of the families, friends, & victims themselves. 10, even 20 years ago Homosexuality was considered a disease, you were sent to a hospital if you were gay/lesbian/bisexual, now 10-20 years later so many people have turned a blind eye, thinking it has gotten better because it is no longer considered a mental illness.In reality, these suicidal outbreaks have shown us the truth: things have only gone from bad, to worse. They have only gone from 'lets treat them' to 'lets torture them' We've got to find a way to accept each other whether we're gay, lesbian, transexual, bisexual, or straight. We are living in THIS life at THIS time. When you grow old, what do you want to be remembered for? torturing someone? Driving them to suicide because they were attracted to someone who was of the same gender as them? Will that make you feel good when you are 80 90+ years old telling your grandkids of your younger days? For so many people, it's already to late tohelp them feel wanted, welcome, & accepted. But for many, especially on this site alone, it is not. People today use the phrase 'that's gay' as a negative term for bad music & such...why? 'gay' isn't negative. You don't say 'That's boy', or 'That's white' to mean that's bad, so why say 'that's gay' to mean that's bad? We need to step together as a race, as humans & help our fellow humans in need. We need to stop this suicide epidemic. Tell everyone they are accepted & welcome for who they are, no matter what, because that's the way mother nature intended for us to be. Touch someone's heart & soul by loving them & telling them they are welcome to be themselves & will be loved none the less. NEVER LET SOMEONE FEEL ALL ALONE. BC feeling alone is the first step towards suicide.
